American Airlines business class is considered a good ride by bloggers. The most common concern noted in American Airlines business class reviews is the highly variable seat configurations. American Airlines flies several different seats and the quality varies significantly among them. The most modern reverse herringbone seats are generally highly rated. Service was also inconsistent across reviews, ranging from friendly to quite poor. In general, food and drink on American Airlines is acceptable but nothing unique.

One thing to note is while the overall experience is strong at 2.35/3.00, the “Big 5” experience is lower rated at 2.18/3.00. This is driven by reviews noting that American gets the job done, but the individual aspects of the experience can be lacking. When booking American Airlines business class flights be sure to research the seat configuration your aircraft. The older seats are among the greatest complaints of negative reviews.
