British Airways is considered a good airline choice by most bloggers. Because British Airways has gone through several waves of service cutbacks then followed by improvements, reviewer opinions are quite varied. Most recently, British Airways has made recent investments to improve their “soft product,” and reviewers noted that the food and bedding are much improved, leading to a better experience.
Seats are a highly controversial topic. British Airways has a dense configuration with narrow seats on many aircraft that is considered generally not competitive. Some reviewers noted that the IFE is sub-par, but these issues were reported on the London City flights and older 747 aircraft. Newer aircraft tend to have a refreshed IFE that is generally regarded as quite good. WiFi is often not available on many aircraft.
What to Look Forward To: Great food and service
What to Watch Out For: Poor WiFi; tight seat configuration on many planes; variable IFE by aircraft
