Garuda Indonesia is considered an excellent first class product. Garuda scores 2.77/3 overall with a Big 5 score of 2.66/3.  Multiple categories, including seat, food, drink, and service scored excellent or better.  However, there were a few rough spots. IFE scored lower at 1.83/3, with some critiques over movie selection. The amenity kit was also rated low at 1.60/3, with several reviewers saying it felt cheap for a first class product, and other reviewers receiving a business class kit. The carrier does not have any direct connections to the U.S., which makes it more challenging to book. If you have business on a route which Garuda flies, you should strongly consider this first class product.
