Virgin Atlantic business class — cheekily called “Upper Class” — is considered a good product by bloggers and reviewers. Although not directly factored into Premium Travel Insider scores, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at London Heathrow is considered one of the best business class lounges in the world. Excellent service is called out in most Virgin Atlantic business class reviews. Food is considered good and drink program is rated as great. The biggest complaints are focused on two issues. The first is a dated seat product, with a cramped 1-2-1 herringbone configuration on the A330, and a less cramped, but still below average 1-1-1 on other aircraft. Virgin Atlantic is taking delivery of new A350-1000 aircraft with improved seats in the near future. WiFi was also abysmal, with many flights not equipped with WiFi or poor service reported.

What to Look Forward To: Excellent service
What to Watch Out For: Cramped seating on non-A350 aircraft, awful WiFi
