British Airways first class is considered a good — borderline great — airline choice by most bloggers and reviewers. Excellent food, drink, and amenity kit top the areas in which British Airways provides the best product. These soft product improvements are part of a fleetwide upgrade British Airways has been carrying out. Service and bedding are good. The seat is considered on the high end of acceptable, but the seat quality varies depending on the aircraft and the specific seat chosen. For example, the center seats of the 747 are quite poor, as they are extremely exposed. However, window seats are generally acceptable on all aircraft. The IFE is reported as subpar, driven by some of British Airways’ older aircraft with older systems. Lavatories were also rated as extremely poor, as they are generally small and have nothing to differentiate them as first class lavatories. WiFi is mixed, and generally the “streaming” (more expensive) option is required to achieve acceptable speeds. British Airways is good, but you might consider alternate arrangements depending on the route you are flying and the age of the aircraft.
